Catch up and deleted photos

Daddy's phone has died so here's some photos that we managed to salvage.  Here are the girls on a date with mummy to spend Christmas money.

We spent time with cousins.

We decorated the tree.

We had the traditional Christmas eve breakfast on Christmas eve eve because it fell on a Sunday!

Mia went to the Christmas market with her friends.

It snowed - we enjoyed a snow day as a family.

Mia chose to go for a meal with her  friends on her birthday.  We had dessert at Krispy Kremes.

I took Mia shopping to choose her own presents so we went on a Mummy/Daughter date to buy some clothes.

We've enjoyed playing some board games as a family for FHE.

Ismay has joined Shifnal Europeans football club, we have enjoyed supporting her as a family.  We decided to explore Oswestry when she played a match there.  Here we are in the town centre.

Ismay and Eden have been very good at getting on with their homework - here is a photo to prove it.

Here is a picture of Mia with her friends for her birthday party.  They enjoyed a meal and then had some time exploring town.  I spent most of the time trailing after them!

Here we are at Oakengates football stadium after watching Mia at a very cold and wet match.  They won 3 nil.

Mia and I enjoyed another Mummy/Daughter date doing some Christmas shopping.

August

We spent some of the holidays skating, and some time exploring the outdoors.  We took part in the "Shropshire Rocks" project - a project whereby we painted rocks and planted them outdoors for people to find.

We also took a trip to the exotic zoo and enjoyed handling the animals there.

Ismays birthday

Ismay turned 11 this year.  She got some football boots and clothes for her birthday.

Instead of having a party Ismay asked to go bowling.  It was her first time going and she scored a strike.

Christmas and New year

Christmas came this year, and Santa left the traditional pjs on christmas eve for the children.  Then when they went down stairs, they found he had left a pile of presents.  We had duck and lamb for our christmas dinner.

We spent boxing day together with the Basford family at Uncle Colin's. For the rest of the holidays, we had the Howlett Jrs and Snrs over and we went ice skating.

For NYE we had coktails at the neighbours.

Snow day

This year we had snow for the first time in a few years.

We had three days off school and made the most of it by going sledging.

September

The holidays came and went, we visited Nanah and Grandpa in Wales.

Then it was time to go back to school.  Mia had her first day at secondary school at Idsall.  She thoroughly enjoyed it. Ismay started year six and Eden year five.

July Part 2

The play for school this year was Shrek.  Mia was Tinkerbell and Ismay was a villager.

Ismay got to go to the school disco with her friends.

Once school had broken up we took a trip to Essex to see the Kyds.

We went ice skating.

We went for walks in the park.

The girls had a sleepover at Grandmas with their cousins.
