Finding joy in the little things

We are just feeling so grateful at the moment that we have each other. Each night the children thank Heavenly Father for our family, the food in our cupboards, the roof over our heads and the clothes in our drawers.  What more do we need? We have it all here. This week I am grateful for:

The girls making birthday cards for their Daddy.

Cuddling up and reading stories.

Watching the girls do their homework with Grandpa.

Watching the girls have fun with Nanah.

Happy birthday daddy

Daddy's birthday fell on a Sunday this year so we celebrated a day early:

A family meal at the Harvester thanks to Nanah and Grandpa

A party tea of daddy's favourite food

And a lovely tasty dessert/cake

Changing seasons

We had a really sunny day at the start of the week. I took the children to the park after school to make the most of it and then we enjoyed some ice lollies in the garden. Hard to believe November is here already!

The girls and I collected some beautiful leaves on the way home. They decided to make a collage from them.

Then we tidied up the garden and dug out the vegetable beds.

We harvested quite a bit of veg.

We had a lovely time celebrating the change in seasons and bonfire night at the Daniels house.
