Autumn is here

Back to school happened so quickly.  And after a few sunny weeks Autumn crept in....so the children decided to play with chalk in the kitchen as outside was too cold.  

 

 

Ismay is obsessed with making her own experiments at the moment.  Her she is having a go at making slime/goo.

   

Escape to Derby

 

We rented a little bungalow and took the beauties for a mini holiday in Derby.  We were surrounded by absolutely beautiful countryside.  The canal path was just behind the house and provided a nice walk for the children.

Bank Holiday Fun

 

 

 

Today was most unusual.....beautiful weather for bank holiday.  Daddy took the children to the town park.

There was also a fair.....daddy treated them to a ride.

What fun was had....then daddy took them to the Wrekin.

 

After dinner we then had FHE delivered by Ismay, planned and prepared by herself.

Eden gets baptised.

It was wonderful to all be together for our special boys baptism.

Garden

 

We've been lucky with the weather, so we've had the paddling pool out quite a few times. We also grew some courgettes and tomatoes and the girls have had fun making up their own recipes for sweets.   Daddy also put a new shed in the garden. He's so clever, managed to assemble it by himself.  

Big Wild Camp out

We had some fun outdoors visiting Aunty Sarah.

 We then went to the Kimbers for a big wild sleep out.

Holidays are here

 

The holidays are finally here.  Ismay celebrated by opening an ice cream shop using some of the resources I used with my class.

 She then raided my fabric stash and made a bag for her friend.

One day I let them play with shaving foam in the garden...when I saw all the mess I kind of regretted it but the rain soon washed it away and I realised they had had fun and that was more important. 

The cats continue to be loved and adored and are very much a part of our family now.

Aunty Sazzle came to play with the girls and we had loads of fun going to Bridgnorth and playing water fights in the garden. 

 

 

Today the kids are doing crafts and Eden is filming them.  I love seeing how their child initiated play evolves as they get older.
