Little visit to the West Country

We really miss the Stevens family so we made a plan to go visit them. After a couple of hours drive we arrived in the lovely chocolate box village of Sutton Benger. Love this pic of the kids at the village park.

The boys took the girls for a little daddy/daughter date.

They had hot chocolate and fed the ducks.

They then had a St George's themed dinner.

Whilst Bex and I got to go out for a lovely meal.

We visited Bath.  Here we are at the Abbey where royal kings have been crowned.

A visit to the royal crescent was a must of course.

We rounded off the lovely weekend with birthday cake as  Rich and I are born a day apart.

Back to reality.

We've been back at school/work for a week now and it feels like we were never away.  It's been crazy, work, eat and sleep.

However, the kids got to spend all of Saturday with their cousins which was lovely. Not sure why Eden has this face in this picture.

And......I finally got my engagement ring.  I love it, it's unique and very "me".

Monday was one of the Elders last days with us so they came over for a meal and FHE.

Holiday time: Part Two

Love this photos of the children enjoying some much needed time with their daddy.

On the way back we stopped in in Paris and had some springtime fun with the Halls and Van Schendels.

Holiday time: Part One

It's that time of year again; time to visit the apartment in France.  As usual daddy packed the car well and this time the children were allowed electronic devices to play with.  This went down very well!!

After our 16 hour drive we got there! We invited our friends from Toulouse to come over, here is Pierre who has grown so much since we last saw him.

Matthieu is the BBQ expert, so we left him to start the fire.

It was rather chilly so we left our coats on!!! Just like an English barbecue!!!

Martin made a dessert for us.  It was very impressive.

After our delicious lunch we decided to take a walk to the beach.  I love this photo, a friendship which started with three people meeting at work has continued to grow over the years and now we have children who enjoy each other's company.

It was so lovely to watch them all interact together and get along even though they speak different languages.

Daddy took the children for a run every morning.

The children enjoyed shopping and some treats in the apartment.

We went to Montpellier for the day and had drinks in a cafe on a terrace just like the French.

Here they all are at Place de la Comedie.

Ismay did family home evening for us. She'd spent a while preparing it before we left.

Mia made dinner for us one night.

Mia and Ismay went on a date with daddy.
